How to Order Your Repeats
From 1st February 2018 pharmacies, online pharmacies and suppliers of medical appliances will no longer be able to order repeat prescriptions on your behalf.
You will need to order your repeat prescription directly from us every time.
You can order prescription medication:
- Online and via the Online Services App (the quickest and easiest way to order medications. It is available 24/7 365days a year!)
- By handing in the white, tear off part of your repeat prescription
- By telephone – call 01422 247528 and choose option 1
Why is this happening?
As part of Calderdale CCG’s Engagement “It’s our NHS and we’re not going to waste it”, NHS Calderdale CCG asked people to think about the way repeat prescriptions are currently provided and whether they support the CCG’s idea to encourage most people to order their own repeat prescriptions directly from the GP Surgery by using Online Ordering Systems or dropping in a repeat request to the surgery. 77% of people agreed with this and also said that the CCG needed to look at how to reduce waste in medicines.
