Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for making an appointment. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, patient records and carrying out reporting and practice audits.

Secretaries deal with a variety of enquiries from patients and handle the thousands of letters we receive every year from Hospitals, Solictors, Insurance Companies and others relating to medical records.  They type letters and ensure good communication with other healthcare professionals involved in your care.
